COL. FRIEDRICH HECKER

VMD Sculpting was commissioned by the descendants of Col. Friedrich Hecker and the German-American Heritage Society of St. Louis to sculpt the missing bronze bas-relief of Col. Hecker and the wreath on the granite obelisk erected in Benton Park in 1882. The monument was successfully restored and unveiled to the public in 2025.
